香港青少年發展隊

專為25歲以下草地滾球員而設的香港青少年發展隊成立於2001年，目的為吸引更多青少年參與草地滾球運動，確保香港草地滾球運動的長遠發展。

該隊源於2001年3月推出的香港青少年草地滾球培訓計劃，該計劃當時集中了32位曾於2000年參與香港青少年草地滾球賽的球員進行培訓。最初的訓練在沙田小瀝源草地滾球場進行，其後始轉至大埔海濱公園作為主場，一直至今。

時至今日，香港青少年發展隊經常維持約50名男女球員參與訓練，亦繼續吸納畢業自青苗草地滾球培訓計劃的學員。

多年以來，香港青少年發展隊為香港隊輸送了不少新血，不少前香港青少年發展隊隊員現時仍為香港隊效力。

香港青少年發展隊在2001年9月開始參與香港的男子聯賽，而女子隊則在2004開始參賽，他們多年來曾數次贏得冠軍。

香港青少年發展隊澳洲珀斯交流團今天出發，十二名成員將於星期五（24/1）開始一連七日，於不同球會接受當地教練指導及進行友誼賽切磋較量，並順道觀賞西澳省單打決賽，下週五返港。預祝各人球技猛進。
