Further Postponement of the HKLBA Annual Presentation Ceremony (Issued on 21/1/21)

Owing to the development of COVID-19, the HKLBA Annual Presentation Ceremony will be further postponed until May, we will update the details in due course.

All lawn bowls activities suspended from December 10 until further notice (Issued on 9/12/20)

In response to the stringent social-distancing measures introduced by the Hong Kong Government on Tuesday, December 8, this is to announce that all lawn bowls activities, including national competitions and training courses, will be suspended from December 10 until further notice.

We will provide you with further updates when the rules are changed.

 

Postponement of Men’s KO Singles and U25 Age Group Competition (Issued on 1/12/2020)

Due to the increasing severity of the COVID-19, the men’s National Knock-out Singles which was originally scheduled for this Sunday, December 6, will be postponed until further notice.

The U25 Age Group Lawn Bowls Competition on the same day will also postpone for a week.

Please stay vigilant and healthy.

 

Postponement of Women’s KO Singles (Issued on 1/12/2020)

Due to the increasing severity of the COVID-19, the Women’s National Knock-out Singles Competition 2020 which was originally scheduled for Sunday, December 13, will be postponed until further notice.

Postponement of the HKLBA Annual Presentation Ceremony (Issued on 27/11/20)

Owing to the latest development of the COVID-19, the HKLBA Annual Presentation Ceremony will be postponed to January, the details are as follows:

 

 

Date: 24 January, 2021 (Sunday)

Time: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Venue: Jockey Club Lecture Theatre, 2/F., Olympic House, 1 Stadium Path, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay.

Wearing of mask a must at HKLBA activities (Issued on 26/11/2020)

In view of the escalating number of COVID-19 infections in Hong Kong, we feel that it is necessary to impose stringent measures to protect the public when engaging in lawn bowls activities. From now on (November 26, 2020), anyone involved in lawn bowls activities organised by the Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association is required to wear a protective face mask properly. Such activities including national competitions, training courses and other related events. Non-compliance will be rejected to participate in the said activity.

This measure will be enforced until further notice.

We hope this measure will help protecting yourselves and stop the spread of the virus in the local community.
